Product Characteristics: CFLAR might contribute to the carcinogenesis and aggressiveness of endometrial carcinoma and might be a useful prognostic factor in the tumor. CFLAR is specially overexpressed in colon cancers and it might contribute to carcinogenesis of normal colonic mucosa. Synonyms: Polyclonal CFLAR antibody, Anti-CFLAR antibody, CASP8 and FADD-like apoptosis regulator antibody.
Target Information: The protein encoded by this gene is a regulator of apoptosis and is structurally similar to caspase-8. However, the encoded protein lacks caspase activity and appears to be itself cleaved into two peptides by caspase-8.
